How a replacement runs
Camera, dig,
lay, restore
Sewer replacement is disruptive by nature. The way you reduce that is by opening the smallest correct trench and closing it properly — not by rushing.
Camera and locate
We see the failure before we dig, and mark exactly where the trench needs to run. Guessing here costs you a much larger hole.
Open
Trench excavated and shored, spoil managed, site kept safe and passable. Hardscape saw-cut cleanly rather than broken out.
Replace
New line laid to correct grade with proper bedding, connections made and inspected. Grade is the part that determines whether you are back here in five years.
Restore
Backfill compacted in lifts, then concrete formed and poured, or landscape reinstated. Spoil hauled and the site cleaned.

The pipe is the cheap part. What you are really paying for is excavation depth, length of run and what has to be put back over the top.

Questions we actually get
Before you call anyone
Do you do drain cleaning or rooter service?
No. We are a general building contractor and we handle line replacement and the hardscape that goes back over it. If your line just needs clearing, a rooter service is the right and cheaper call. If it keeps needing clearing, that is when to call us.
How do I know the line actually needs replacing?
A camera inspection tells you. Repeated backups, a line that clears then fails within months, visible collapse or offset joints on camera, or heavy root intrusion through cast iron or clay all point to replacement rather than clearing.
Will you tear up my whole driveway?
Only what sits over the trench line. We locate before we dig and saw-cut a clean edge rather than breaking out a wide area. Everything we cut is in the quote to be poured back, so the driveway is finished when we leave.
How long will we be without drains?
Less than most people expect — the line itself goes in fast once the trench is open. The calendar is set by excavation, inspection and the concrete going back, and you will have that schedule in writing before we start.
Are you licensed and bonded?
Yes. CSLB license #1079728, Class B, General Building Contractor, active through August 2027. We carry a $25 through Atlantic Specialty and $2 through State Farm. Verify the licence yourself at cslb.ca.gov before you let anyone into your house — we would rather you did.
What deposit do you take?
California caps a residential down payment at $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. Payment after that follows a written progress schedule tied to completed stages, so you always know what you are paying for. If any contractor asks for a large payment up front, that is your signal to walk.
